
Course Learning Outcomes Course Learning Outcomes are statements of learning achievement that are expressed in terms of what the learner is expected to know, understand and be able to do upon completion of a course. Students graduating from this course will be able to: CLO Description 1 Research and synthesise key information, and apply expert judgement in engineering design and project planning. 2 Interpret information and communication knowledge, ideas and procedures to both expert and non-expert audiences. 3 Employ independent learning strategies to update own knowledge in the field and keep pace with innovations in engineering techniques, industry trends and standards. Course Structure Students in the Master of Engineering must complete the requirements of one of the following specialisations, to a total of 96 credit points: Management Civil Engineering Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering Environmental Engineering Materials Engineering Mechanical Engineering Mechatronic Engineering Mining Engineering Telecommunications Engineering Previously this degree offered specialisations in Asset Management, and Innovative Manufacturing. Please note that from 2020 these two specialisations will no longer be offered.
