約翰霍普金斯大學Johns Hopkins University

Johns Hopkins 是公衛專業里面的NO.1 , JHU的公衛學院設置的專業分支比較細致, 即使已經有流行病學這個分支, 但是學校還是另外設有把微生物技術結合了免疫學的方向。JHU的School of Public Health包括公衛的傳統Department，例如： Biostatistics、Environmental Health Sciences、Epidemiology、Health，Behavior and Society、Health Policy and Management、International Health、Mental Health、Population, Family and Reproductive Health。除此之外，JHU的School of Public Health還有兩個特別的分支：Department: Biochemistry and Molecular Biology、Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology。

JHU School of Public Health的大部分專業對托福的要求是IBT100，GRE required但是沒有注明具體分數要求，成績單需要WES認證。JHU的Public Health不需要通過SOPHAS來申請。

JHU的學費也是貴的出名，公衛學院的tuition fee 是JH Full-time tuition: $8,736 per term，一年有五個TERM，這樣算下來一年要將近5W刀!!

從School of Public Health at University of Pittsburgh的錄取要求上來看，Pittsburgh大部分Department公衛的MPH，PhD，DrPH學位是需要GRE成績的，而 MSc與MHA(Master of Health Administration)對GRE不做要求，除了MSc in Epidemiology必須要求GRE。

IBT要求是80 for Admission，但是如果registration at GSPH需要IBT 100，如果沒到100 must be tested for English proficiency by the University’s English Language Institute (ELI)。

Pittsburgh的公共衛生學院是一定要通過SOPHAS來申請的，就是說成績單和GT分數要寄到SOPHAS。

大部分被CEPH(公共衛生教育協會)認證的公共衛生學院申請都是使用SOPHAS中心的，但也有學校是有自己的單獨申請系統。SOPHAS網站統計了每所公共衛生學院的專業分支及學位設置。系統每年9月開通下一年的申請，但一定要記住每個公共衛生學院都有自己的截止日期，所以盡量早申請。所有材料寄送到SOPHAS中心后，需要大約4個星期時間審核并寄送到相應的學校。
